Today is Ash Wednesday in the traditional Chrisitan Calenader, marking the beginning of the season of Lent, a 40 day period that leads up to Holy Week and the Easter season. It’s all about preperation, and it can be an incredibly meaningful time. Lent is making quite a comeback in the Church at large, particualry among certain evangelical traditions that tend to be less than enthusiastic about such things.
