Winter Camp
Winter Family Camp at Horn Creek is always special. No, there won't be any whitewater rafting at these camps! But, there is the tubing hill and skiing at Monarch Mountain. The fires stay stoked, the coffee stays on, and the hot chocolate flows.
Snowmass Mountain - December 27-January 2
Our Snowmass Mountain Winter Camp is a great time for families to get away for some winter fun. We'll celebrate the New Year together and maybe even sing a Christmas song or two. In addition are all the regular Horn Creek Family Camp elements of great worship and teaching at evening Round-Up, great food and the special attention of the Horn Creek staff.
Discounted lift tickets for Monarch Mountain are available at the Horn Creek Rec Center throughout the week!
Speaker: Mark Worley
Mark Worley is a native Texan. He and his wife Caroline have three children, two sons, a daughter (ages 26, 24, and 18), and a daughter-in-law. Mark has served as a pastor in Sherman/Denison, TX and a youth pastor in Austin and Midland, TX. After graduating from Dallas Christian College, he studied Behavioral Science at UTPB, Higher Education Administration at UNT, and received his graduate degree in New Testament and Urban Ministry at Johnson Bible College. He is in his twenty-eighth year with Dallas Christian College, where he has served as Director of Recruitment and Associate Professor of Practical Ministries. Mark is currently serving in administration as Vice President for Student Development at DCC, 
following his passion of working with young men and women, developing them into leaders for the Kingdom of God. He also serves as a teaching pastor at a multi-site church, Compass Church of Valley Ranch. He has spoken for youth conferences, camps, seminars, and conventions around the world. Growing up in the inner cities of San Antonio and Dallas, he also has a passion for working within the urban context. He is a man who loves his family, loves the church, and loves people.

Camping at The Lodge
The Horn Creek Lodge is a high mounting alpine lodge facility with 40 years of history. This beautiful facility has as its hub a large living-room style meeting space and a beautiful dining room with a panoramic view of Horn Peak! Newly remodeled hotel lodge style rooms make up the two wings of this traditional building.
In addition to the lodge rooms are four separate large cabins, ideal for larger families or small groups that want to room together.
The dining room is always open for late night snacking and game playing, and the meeting space is a great place to hang out, play games, or read a book. Both the dining hall and meeting room have large fireplaces, and the meeting room has full multi-media capabilities with a huge projection screen.
The Lodge also has its own hot-tub room and is just up the hill, a short walk, from the Horn Creek Recreation Center.
