Tim Pettey

Tim became the founding pastor of a church on the central coast of California, where he continues to serve.

Biography

Tim was raised in Southern California in a committed Christian family and came to faith in Christ at age 6. At the age of 9 at Forest Home Christian Camp he dedicated his life to ministry, and in high school received a clear call of God to the ministry.

Tim graduated from Biola College in 1978 and served in youth ministry for over 14 years. After 11 years as youth pastor at the same church, God called Tim into church planting. After completing a Masters degree at Western Seminary in Portland, OR; Tim became the founding pastor of a church on the central coast of California, where he continues to serve.

While a youth pastor, Tim began coaching high school football and just finished his 20th season of coaching. Tim and his wife Janette have been married for 18 years and they have two daughters.
