Western Night Each Thursday evening families gather at their camps for a delicious “chuck wagon style” dinner followed by a short “Round-Up”. Afterwards, everyone heads to the Arena to enjoy an old-fashioned country fair with watermelon eating contests, three-legged races, sack races, and face painting and pony rides for the little ones. Everyone’s favorite bluegrass band, “Sons and Brothers,” plays old-time favorites and spirituals followed by an evening show complete with heroes and dastardly villains. Western Night closes with a little late-night square dancin’! Everyone is encouraged to deck out in their finest western wear.
