A Brand New Horn Creek Family Camp for Adoptive and Foster Care Families!
Hosted at the Horn Creek Mountain Meadows facility, this brand new camp has been organized with adoptive and foster families in mind. The camp will consist of all the fun, relaxation and family time that Horn Creek is known for -- but it will also have a few special extras designed especially for adoptive and foster families. These extras will include a chance to hang out with a diverse group of families from all of the country, some focused discussion time on topics that are particularly relevant for adoptive and foster families as well as a teaching focus on our adoption in Christ. In addition, many of the families that will attend are involved in church adoption and foster care ministry, such as the leaders of Tapestry (Irving Bible Church) and LifeSong for Orphans.
We are excited to be partnering with these great ministries to produce this exciting new camp. Check out Tapestry's excellent blog.
As a ministry to adoptive and foster families Horn Creek is inviting children who have been adopted within the past year or have been in their current foster placement for less than a year to come free of charge. We hope you will consider joining this new and exciting camp.
Greg and Tracy Fields
We are pleased to have Greg and Tracy Fields joining us as part of the leadership team of our first ever family camp for adoptive and foster care families.
Greg lives in Greenville, Texas where he serves as Pastor at Westminster Presbyterian Church. He and his wife, Tracey, have been married for 15 years and have 4 children. Their multi-racial, half biological, half adopted family is "learning as they go" how to live in a rural community as a "normal" family.

Camping at Mountain Meadows
The Mountain Meadows camp at Horn Creek is a unique facility. The centralized dining and meeting halls are warm and inviting. And while we don't have any TVs or cable at Horn Creek, our Meadows meeting hall does boast a giant plasma screen monitor for family movie nights and other multi media.
Consider the meeting space, complete with lots of couches and a huge fireplace, your living-room for the week. Our dinning room is always open as well, providing a great place for late-night gaming or snacking. The coffee is always on.
A variety of housing options are available with 15 individualized cabins as well as a lodge type facility with large bedrooms and a substantial common area with its own fireplace! When you register for family camp at Horn Creek, we will match you with housing that best matches up with the size of your family and our needs to maximize our facility. If you have any special housing needs, you should let us know.
Mountain Meadows also has its own hot tub room, and the Horn Creek pool is in close proximity.
