Speaker: Keith Simon
We are pleased to welcome Keith Simon to our family camp speaking team this year. Keith and his family attended our New Years family camp this past winter and we are excited about partnering with Keith and his church in the areas of family camp and youth ministry.
Keith is a pastor at The Crossing in Columbia, Missouri, a church that he helped start in 2000. Before that he and his wife Christine served with Campus Crusade for Christ and then moved to Chicago to attend Trinity Evangelical Divinity School where Keith graduated with an M. Div.
They have 4 children ranging from ages 8-15.
Camping at The Lodge
The Horn Creek Lodge is a high mounting alpine lodge facility with 40 years of history. This beautiful facility has as its hub a large living-room style meeting space and a beautiful dining room with a panoramic view of Horn Peak! Newly remodeled hotel lodge style rooms make up the two wings of this traditional building.
In addition to the lodge rooms are four separate large cabins, ideal for larger families or small groups that want to room together.
The dining room is always open for late night snacking and game playing, and the meeting space is a great place to hang out, play games, or read a book. Both the dining hall and meeting room have large fireplaces, and the meeting room has full multi-media capabilities with a huge projection screen.
The Lodge also has its own hot-tub room and is just up the hill, a short walk, from the Horn Creek Recreation Center.
